DevOps Transformation Engineer - Insight Global : Job Details

JOB DESCRIPTION

A financial customer of Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Transformation Engineer to work hybrid in Greenwood Village on a contract to hire basis. In this role they are looking to augment departing networking/storage engineers, with the expectation that they will be more involved in DevOps in the future. Their number on priority is migrating their on-premises data to the AWS cloud. This role will also focus on crafting state-of-the-art products through advanced automation across AWS and on-premises infrastructure, while also embracing cutting edge technologies. In this role you will hold the responsibility of managing the companies AWS footprints through Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. You will also develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3+ Years of experience in DevOps

- 1-3+ Year working with hybrid/op-premises technologies such as NetApp, VMware, Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5

- 3+ years of working with Terraform

- 2+ years working with Docker

- 3+ Years working in Kubernetes

- Hands on experience working in a digital transformation

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Any AWS/Azure/GCP Certification (developer, solution architect, networking, infrastructure) (preferred).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Advanced experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services, reflecting a senior level of expertise.
