**Direct Hire - Lead Claims Examiner (Workers' Compensation)**

**Location:**

We prefer candidates to work in the Syracuse office a few days a week. However, we are open to full-time remote work for candidates who do not live locally.

**Experience & License Requirements:**

+ Supervisory experience managing New York Workers' Compensation teams is required.

+ A valid NY Adjusters license is preferred but not mandatory.

**Job Description:**

**Primary Purpose:**

The Lead Claims Examiner will handle the analysis of complex and technically challenging workers' compensation claims to determine benefits eligibility. The role involves managing high-exposure claims, including those requiring litigation and rehabilitation. Responsibilities include ensuring claims are adjudicated within service expectations, adhering to industry best practices and client-specific service standards, identifying subrogation opportunities, and negotiating settlements.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 3+ years of Experience supervising New York Workers' Compensation claims teams.

+ 5 years of WC Claims Examiner experience

+ Valid New York Adjusters license.
