Heavy Equipment Mechanic Opportunity – Tennessee

Join a well-established heavy equipment dealership with over 40 years of industry excellence! We're seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of earthmoving, construction, trenching, and drilling equipment at customer job sites. If you pride yourself on doing the job right and have a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain and repair mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, aggregate, and diesel systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures using the latest diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs.
  • Document all procedures, order parts, and provide time estimates for repairs.
  • Complete required technician training classes to sharpen your skills.
  • Apply safety best practices while working on equipment in the field.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5 years of experience (or equivalent) in heavy equipment repair.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems (including CAN/BUS systems).
  • A well-stocked personal toolbox for equipment repairs (we provide specialty tools).
  • Basic welding and oxy/acetylene cutting skills.
