Diesel Mechanic Hiring Location McKees Rock, PA Pay $1,500 / week Diesel Service Technicians responsible for: troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, transmissions and other various components found on all heavy-duty truck makes and models. Diesel Mechanic Benefits: Up to $1,500 per week, paid biweekly Typical Hours: Monday - Friday (7 am - 3:30 pm) $3,000 sign on bonus PTO available after 4 months Uniforms provided Quarterly Performance Incentives: Based on department performance and profitability Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance available after 30 days Retirement Program available after 1 year Direct Deposit Available Diesel Mechanic Requirements: At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision PACCAR, Cummins, CAT & ASE certifications are a plus, but not required Valid State Inspection License is a plus, but not required Primary responsibilities: Accurately diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection Document work in progress on repair orders Perform repairs according to dealership standards and factory specs Road test vehicle, if necessary. Diesel Service Technicians are eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus after completion of 4 months, 8 months and 1 year of service. All Service Technicians may qualify for the quarterly performance incentive plan that is based upon the department's performance and profitability.
