Job DetailsJob DetailsWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual with a strong commitment to quality and excellence. As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including inspecting engines and parts, checking for faults, and replacing or repairing defective components.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, including engine failures, fuel system problems, and malfunctions in the cooling or electrical systems.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues, test parts and systems, and ensure that repairs are effective and durable.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, procedures, and best practices in the industry, including those related to the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including the parts used, the time spent on each job, and any issues encountered or outstanding.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in diesel engine technology, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Work closely with other team members, sharing your expertise and learning from theirs, to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
