Job Overview:
This position will work in the kitchen with the cooks to serve 3 meals per day to residents. The Dietary Aide works as part of team to assemble meals for tray service to resident rooms and to serve meals from a station in the dining room. The Dietary Aide also helps maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
General Responsibilities:
- Help prepare and serve meals for patients and staff in accordance with menus, diet specifications, and sanitary practices
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Clean and maintain dining room during and after each meal service
- Stock food and other supplies for the main kitchen and resident units if applicable
- Interact with other department staff, patients, and patients families
General Qualifications:
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule helpful.
- Must comply with any dress code requirements.
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
- Background checks will be completed prior to employment
- Requirements for this facility are: TB test and Physical within the last year, and HEP B Shot, Covid Vaccination
