Dietary Aide - Seven Hills Foundation : Job Details

OverviewProvides general assistance to the Dietary Department as assigned. Day-to-day participation in all aspects of the Dietary Department as directed by the Department Manager.ResponsibilitiesAssists the cook in determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily meals. Obtains food and supplies as directed. Assists in preparation of food as directed. Prepares trays and serves food according to menus. Checks special diet trays with diet orders before distribution. Delivers food carts to resident feeding areas. Collects food carts from resident feeding areas. Performs dishwashing procedures, including pots, pans and all equipment. Sets up for next meal. Records dishwashing machine temperatures daily. Performs cleaning duties in the kitchen, serving areas and Dining Rooms as scheduled and as directed. Cleans refrigeration equipment and storerooms as scheduled. Checks incoming supplies and restocks storerooms. Prepares and delivers snacks and nourishments as ordered.QualificationsMust be 16-years-of-age.Must meet the physical requirements of the position.Must be able to read and write English.Must be able to work in close proximity with others.
