Great Lakes Christian Homes is looking for dietary/culinary aides to join our fun and friendly team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in our newly remodeled building where we offer a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages growth and autonomy.Job Description: Dietary/Culinary Aide is responsible to provide assistance in all culinary functions.Duties include:Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and on a timely basisComplete kitchen and dining room cleaning assignments according to the cleaning schedule or as directedAssist cook in meal preparation and other culinary services tasks as directedPerform all culinary procedures in accordance with established policies and proceduresJob Requirements/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentExperience working with older adultsAbility to work with a wide variety of personalities in a pleasant and professional mannerAbility to use standard equipment used for culinary servicesAdequate experience in commercial food preparation to understand and manage the necessary volume of food preparation and serviceAbility to work independently and as a team without constant supervisory directiveSchedule:Must work every other weekend and some holidaysQuestions?
