The Dietary Aide Floater will be expected to fill positions as necessary and will perform a variety of tasks.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Follow the prep list created by the cook/dietary system.* Prepare, label, and stock all items for cafeteria sales.* Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.* Prepare simple dishes such as salads, jello, sandwiches etc for facility use.* Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.* Ensure all food and other items are stored and labeled properly.* Prepare snacks and supplements for patients and residents daily.* Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.* Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.* Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas using FIFO method.Education/Experience Requirements* High school diploma or equivalent desired.* Food Handler's certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.Benefits* Medical Insurance* Dental/Vision Insurance* Life Insurance* 401K* Paid Time OffIroquois Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed hospital located in Watseka, Illinois. The hospital operates rural health clinics in Watseka, IL, Gilman, IL, Milford, IL, Saint Anne, IL and Kentland, IN. The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
