Return carts to kitchen at designated times.Load and oversee dishwashers and log and record wash/rinse temperatures.Wash specified items by hand. Example – Pots, pans, knives.Dispose of trash and garbage in appropriate manner.Put clean dishes and utensils awayMop floors as scheduled and as necessary.Clean walk-in refrigerators and storage areas. Maintain dry storage areas by logging temperatures daily and handling the unpacking, dating, and rotating of food and non-food supplies.Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and other nourishments.Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the Dietary SupervisorMaintain good working relationship within the department and with other departments.Treat residents and guest with respect and dignity.Always observe infection prevention and control practices.Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.Perform other task and duties as assigned.Qualifications of Dietary Aide:High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred1 year of experience is preferredAbility to read, write and speak the English LanguageAbility to be ProfessionalGood communication skillsGood Ethical PracticesRelationship ManagementAlways Maintaining ConfidentialityEEO Statement:Our Facility provides equal employment opportunities.
