Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
At least one (1) year experience as a cook, or a combination of education and experience relevant to position.
Age-Specific Competencies:
Must be able to use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and dishwashers. Knowledge of the essential hygiene factors involved in food preparation; knowledge of cleansing and the appropriate methods of cleansing a variety of surfaces.
Licensure/Certification:
Must be able to obtain all job required certifications. CPI/CPR certification and Food Handlers License.
Other:
Ability to focus on tasks amidst distractions, such as noise and foot traffic.
Consistently meet deadlines to ensure timely food preparation.
Flexible with work hours to meet patient and organizational needs.
Maintain professionalism in challenging customer service interactions.
Capable of working independently in a restricted environment for extended periods.
Skilled in multitasking and handling confidential information.
HIPAA:
Does not have access to Medical Records. Access to PHI is limited to information required for special diets.
Pay:
$12.00 - 15.00 per hour
