Dietician - Cancer Services - OSC - Medical Oncology - Full Time - 8 Hour - Variable Days - John Muir Health : Job Details

Job Description:The Clinical Dietitian assesses, plans, implements, documents, and evaluates the education and nutrition needs of patients in the Cancer Program using established standards of care. The Dietician reports to the Manager of Ambulatory Services Specialized Oncology.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree - Food Science, Nutrition Services, or related field - Required

• Professional Internship - Dietetic Internship - Required

• Master's Degree- Nutrition, Healthcare Administration, or related field - Preferred

Experience:

• 1-year Healthcare - Acute Care Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

• RD Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration - Required

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate on teams.

• Demonstrate excellent mentoring and teaching skills.

• Ability to anticipate and solve problems.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.

Work Shift:08.0 - 09:00 - 17:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$44.32 - $66.47Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt' on it.
