Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a Dietitian Nutritionist I-HC for inpatient clinical nutrition at HCA Florida West Hospital located on the beautiful, emerald gulf coast of Florida in Pensacola. This 500 bed acute care hospital is affiliated with HCA, the Nation's leading provider of healthcare with pediatrics, med surgical, oncology, behavioral health, and intensive and critical care units.

Incentives: Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! What You'll Do:
  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units medical/surgical,telemetry,surgical/orthopedics, & behavioral medicine
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds
  • Serve on designated committees as needed
  • Work every 4th weekend providing hospital wide coverage, including critical care
  • Enjoy being part of a collaborative, positive dietetic team
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
  • Have interest in developing skills for advanced practice including tube feeding placement
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses

What You Bring:
  • Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in FL;
  • utilize the Nutrition Care Process and practice NFPEs;
  • strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player; and/or
  • the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
