Job Summary: The Digital Advertising Campaign Director will be responsible for establishing, managing, and growing a digital advertising team focused on delivering high-impact campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, direct response fundraising, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving successful digital ad campaigns, experience in the nonprofit sector, and working knowledge of Google Ad Grants.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Building & Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing digital advertising team, including campaign managers, ad specialists, data analysts, graphic designers and copy writers.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring continuous learning and development.

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital advertising strategies tailored to the unique needs of nonprofit clients.
  • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of digital ad campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with clients' fundraising goals.
  • Work closely with creative, content, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.

Client Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and campaign insights.
  • Regularly update clients on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimizations and future strategies.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention by delivering measurable results.

Data & Analytics:

  • Utilize advanced data analytics to track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
  • Lead the development of data-driven audience segmentation and targeting strategies.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics, industry trends, and client feedback.

Innovation & Growth:

  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and technologies, incorporating the latest best practices into campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and new revenue streams within the digital advertising domain.
  • Drive innovation within the team by exploring new platforms, tools, and techniques that can enhance campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on direct response campaigns.
  • Proven experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in fundraising.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing teams.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other major advertising platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Grants is required; proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools is a plus.
