Job Type Full-time Description Bloomsbury Academic is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing global digital marketing team. The ideal candidate is a curious and resourceful self-starter whos dedicated to finding creative solutions, and has at least two years of experience in marketing, publishing, or a related field. This position supports the digital marketing team in designing and delivering targeted campaigns that boost book sales, drive audience engagement, and expand brand awareness. A team member with a strong grasp of social media, email marketing, and digital advertisingcombined with sharp analytical skillswill help us connect our books and authors with the right audience. Responsibilities Support the development of paid and organic digital marketing campaigns, including Amazon and social media ads, email marketing, and SEO efforts Help with content creation, including writing social media and email copy and designing graphics in Canva Track and report on key performance metrics for digital campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance Research and seek out digital marketing opportunities to promote our titles Assist in planning and scheduling email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and audience engagement initiatives Collaborate with the design team to develop graphics, videos, and other marketing materials Help maintain brand consistency across all digital channels by adhering to brand guidelines and best practices Collaborate and communicate regularly with key in-house departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Editorial, to ensure awareness of current and future digital campaigns Provide general administrative support to the team, including organizing assets, corresponding with subject and audience marketers, and maintaining campaign documentation Assist the digital marketing team as needed with priority campaigns, such as key book launches and seasonal promotions Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices Requirements Requirements Two or more years of experience in digital marketing, publishing, or a related field Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong writing, editing, and communication skills Adaptability and ability to learn and use new systems, from project management to title management Proficiency in social media management tools (Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and emerging platforms) Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Emma, or similar) Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) Extra Credit A genuine appreciation for books Location All candidates must reside in either MD, DC or VA and be able to commute to the Greenbelt office Or NY tri-state area and be able to commute to our NY headquarters on a hybrid-remote schedule.
