The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns that are designed to support our business objectives. This role is a key tactical player in enhancing our online presence, increasing website traffic and engagement, and generating leads for both the lending and deposit verticals.The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Director and is expected to actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop execution plans and manage the day-to-day marketing needs of the business verticals the Marketing department supports.Key Job Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesDigital Marketing Campaign Development and Implementation
  • Planning and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement multi-touch digital marketing plans to support Sales AE initiatives and select retail direct-to-consumer goals. This may include a mix of tactics like: email marketing, paid search, display advertising, and paid/organic social media, lead generation, and publisher advertising.
    • Manage the company's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and create content to engage customers, increase followers, and drive traffic to our conversion points.
    • Develop creative assets to support marketing campaigns whenever necessary.
    • Coordinate the implementation of marketing campaigns by ensuring adherence to the campaign timelines and deliverables, and facilitating the review process between Marketing managers, business owners, and compliance.
    • Assist in market and customer research initiatives related to product launches and marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaign objectives, optimize campaign tactics on a regular basis, and facilitate reviews and approvals.
Reporting Analytics and Insights:
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor marketing metrics and analytics, and make recommendations to improve the performance of existing tactics. Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools (GA4, Hubspot Reporting) and provide regular reports with actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.
Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Ensure all marketing activities follow industry regulations and company policies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Marketing Automation:
  • Develop and implement marketing workflows and automations to increase usage and adoption of products and services.
  • Actively work within the Marketing, Content, and Automation interfaces within Hubspot to develop, execute, and manage campaigns.
Website CMS:
  • Actively work within the website CMS (WordPress and Hubspot) to develop/update and publish marketing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and SEO best practices.
Marketing Operations:
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage and update the company Intranet and implement tactics to drive user engagement.
  • Assist the marketing team in executing against employer branding initiatives like, creating internal assets, posting content via social media and intranet sites.
  • Perform administrative duties within the marketing department related to: maintaining policies and procedures, coordinating systems access reports, and satisfying training requirements.
Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 Years experience in digital marketing including a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated success in developing and executing the following marketing tactics:
    • Email Marketing (one-to-one, bulk, behavioral/triggered, etc.)
    • Social Media Management (Meta, LinkedIn)
    • Paid Media (Display Advertising, Remarketing, Paid Search, Performance Max, Mobile Conquesting, etc.)
    • Publisher Advertising (Online and Trade Publications)
  • Proficient knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing.
  • Ability to ideate and create marketing assets for multiple digital marketing channels or platforms.
  • Basic, practical training in graphic design and content development is required, along with proficiency in developing webpages and creative/ad content using a website and marketing CMS, preferably WordPress and Hubspot.
  • Proficiency in using and optimizing digital marketing tools and platforms, including GA4, Google/Microsoft Ads, and social media plaftorms.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw actionable customer and channel insights, and drive action.
  • Ability to prioritize marketing initiatives efficiently and juggle multiple competing priorities with ease.
  • Must be able to show adaptability and have strong creative problem-solving skills needed to stay ahead of the competition. Must have an innovative mindset that allows them to embrace change and address problems with speed, agility, and minimal disruption to the team and internal processes.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and be a positive agent of change in the organization.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the needs of the business and the ability to share the value that digital marketing brings to the organization.

  • Stable internet connection with speeds high enough for video conferencing and screen sharing
