Willow Creek's Marketing and Communications (Marcom) Central Team helps carry the mission, vision, and values of Willow into our church and community. By equipping ministries and campuses as effective brand ambassadors and creating engaging and inspiring content, we remove barriers so that people can experience the love of God. As the full time Digital Media Content Creator, you are a filmmaker with a vision for creating compelling content that helps drive engagement across our digital platforms. You will be part of advancing the future of personalized content at Willow, by producing, capturing, and editing videos that will help people grow in their faith and discover their next steps. The salary range for this position is around $52,000 - $66,000 annually depending on experience and skill set. This position is a temporary position for 12 months. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare all aspects of pre-production (including researching video examples/influences, creating mood boards/treatments/storyboards, shot lists, assembling and reserving filming equipment and locations, coordinating and scheduling with talent and crew)
- Perform aspects of production (including directing talent, operating cameras, lighting scenes, capturing audio, and setting up and striking sets)
- Execute aspects of post-production (including ingesting media, editing footage, sourcing music, sound effects and stock clips, incorporating graphics, mixing audio, correcting and grading color, and archiving finished projects)
- Manage the Marcom Studio Space
Success is Defined As... Creating clear and compelling video content for our digital platforms that helps people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world. Requirements Preferred Skills and ExperienceSkills/Competencies:
- Skilled in capturing direct-to-camera videos through proper lighting, staging, etc.
- Strong in coaching and directing on-camera talent to put them at ease to achieve the desired video outcome
- Able to tell a compelling story in a video/film format
- Demonstrated skill in creativity, process management, problem solving and priority setting
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro and After Effects Fluent in each step of the cinematic process (pre-production, production and post-production)
- Understanding of camera equipment and what's required to achieve shots
- Knowledge of Canon C300/500 cameras or equivalent video/cinema cameras
- Knowledge of basic studio lighting
- Knowledge of basic sound recording and mixing
- Knowledge of creating video for multiple social platforms and video formats (Instagram, Youtube, etc)
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus

Education and Experience:
- Experience in creating video content for social media, websites, apps
- Experience in making testimony/documentary-type videos, announcement/talking head videos, and event recap and promotional videos
- A college or secondary school degree in Television/Film/Video or equivalent industry experience.
