Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate digital printing presses to produce a variety of printed materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on digital presses to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Calibrate and adjust press settings to achieve desired output, including color matching, resolution, and alignment.
  • Monitor print jobs for accuracy and consistency, making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality output.
  • Prepare and load materials such as paper, inks, and other supplies into the press, ensuring proper alignment and setup.
  • Collaborate with prepress and production teams to review job orders, layouts, and proofs for accuracy before printing.
  • Perform quality control checks on printed materials, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and company standards.
  • Record and report production metrics, including job completion times, material usage, and press performance.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking usage and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience operating digital printing presses, with a strong understanding of press mechanics and processes.
  • Familiarity with digital press software and tools, including RIP software, color management systems, and prepress workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for color accuracy and print quality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with digital presses.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
