As a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer at BlueHalo you will design complex digital signal processing systems. You will serve as the Subject-Matter Expert across multiple systems to develop innovative solutions to unique problems. A successful DSP Engineer will have a detailed understanding on how multiple systems interact.Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Designs, simulates, and implements moderate digital signal processing modules.
- Receives instruction on specific objects.
- Receives direction on complex problems and possible solutions.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with customer or official contacts and communications pertaining specific assignments or meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master's Degree and 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Intermediate Digital Signal Processing Algorithms.
- Proficiency in Communications theory.
- Proficiency in programming languages preferably C or C++.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance.

- Software Defined Radios
- Digital Signal Processing Theory
- Signal Processing Algorithms: e.g., Rate conversion, Correlation and Filtering
- C, C++ Programming: Object Oriented Design
- DSP Algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink: Develop and pick up MATLAB models for bit exact design verification; May use SIMULINK (system generator) as an interim step.
