Copy Link Digital Strategist Retail Location New York Digital Strategist Retail Description HUNTER is looking for a Social & Digital Media Strategist, who will be responsible for managing social and digital media marketing programs/campaigns for clients and brands, and playing a role in the strategic development of social and digital media campaigns, offering counsel to clients and colleagues, as well as supervising team members. Qualifications Required: -B.A. in Marketing, Public Relations or the like -Four (4) to six (6) years of experience managing social channels for clients/brands, developing social content plans and digital strategies, and managing social/digital media campaigns -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprinklr) and social listening/analytics platforms (e.g. Radian6, SimplyMeasured) Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: -Drive effective implementation of multiple social media programs/campaigns -Delegate appropriate responsibilities to social and digital media team members for execution -Deliver high qualify results on-time and on-budget -Anticipate issues -Make recommendations for ways to meet clients needs -Manage campaign financials: develop and manage campaign budgets, fee estimates, out-of-pocket expenses, team hour allocations, billing, invoicing, etc. -Regularly monitor to ensure execution is staying on-budget; regularly report budget status to agency management -Provide analysis to clients of program results -Collaboratively create strategic and creative social/digital media campaigns for multiple clients -Apply strategic/creative thinking skills and knowledge of social media analytics to gain insight and devise strategy -Serve as primary client contact and build/maintain strong relationships with key client personnel -Recognize and seek opportunities to grow clients social/digital programs/business, including PR clients who have yet to scope the digital team for a standalone project -Manage and moderate clients social media channels; ensure consistent community management and consumer engagement -Build and maintain relationships with social media contacts and influencers on behalf of the agency and clients -Create presentations for new business and business renewal proposals; participate in new business and/or business renewal pitches Ability to: -Understand the intricacies of established and emerging social channels -Understand the clients business and relevant industry trends, and use the information to collaboratively develop creative and strategic social media marketing plans -Manage multiple campaigns for multiple clients -Train and mentor junior staff -Effectively delegate work among department team members -Travel to client and event locations; meet with clients at their office locations/headquarters -Demonstrate solid writing, editing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills -Stay current with developments in social media, current trends, technology updates and top news stories in the clients and brands spaces At HUNTER, our employees are our most valuable asset.
