Direct Support Professional (DSP) - DRCC : Job Details

DRCC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a warm, friendly, supportive setting for persons being served, assisting individuals with disabilities in their activities, hobbies, and community involvement.

The Direct Support Professional will:

• Develop and maintain relationships with the people served by DRCC that respect their rights and promote their interests
• Protect the health and safety of each person in the program
• Provide services to the people served by implementing Coordinated Service and Support Plans
• Assist clients with medical needs and personal cares
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Light housekeeping
• Perform other programmatic functions

No experience is necessary. All applicants must:

• Be passionate about improving the lives of others
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Maintain a valid driver's license with no restrictions, have a working personal vehicle, and maintain at least state required minimum auto insurance coverage
• Be able to pass a background check
• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
