Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, respectful support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community involvement.
• Empower clients to achieve greater independence by engaging them in social, educational, and recreational activities.
• Observe and document changes in client behavior or health, communicating updates to the care team.
• Build and maintain a positive, trusting relationship with each client and their family.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check or obtain a good cause waiver.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a caring nature.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Every other weekend is required.
