PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Direct Support Professional, duties and tasks my include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow established policies and procedures set by the agency.
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans and behavioral support programs
  • Facilitate community integration and socialization activities for clients
  • Always maintain the highest standard of conduct and courtesy in dealing with clients, their family, the staff, and the community. Promote positive interaction.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on best practices/policies
  • Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any incidents
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
  • Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and other outings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • No job-related experience necessary! Ravenna, Ohio
  • 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must possess a valid, current drivers license.
  • Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards.
  • Positive attitude with the desire to help others.
