Autism Center of Nebraska is looking for a Direct Support Professional who is a compassionate, empathetic, and a role model for our individuals to look up to while they strive to meet their goals! Monday to Friday: - 8:30am- 4:30pm. New wage of $15.00 to $16.00 and up to a $600 hiring bonus!!! Our DSPs at ACN work with children and adults who experience autism and other developmental disabilities. Duties include:

• Teaching independent living skills, vocational skills, or job-seeking skills.
• Support clients in these areas while also providing positive behavioral support.
• Care for each client, interacting with them throughout the day.
• Be able to drive clients to any outings that are planned for the week and watch over them at the event.
• Assist in writing a resume for jobs in the Community.
• Helping in our Art Gallery

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass ASP/CPS, Sex Offender, Background Checks

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Englilsh with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly
• Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance
• Your own reliable transportation and good driving record
