Direct Support Professional Supervisor (DSPS) Group HomeCompany: Central Florida Communities, Inc.Location: Winter Park, FL 32792About the Company: Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties. CFC operates 17 Group Homes which are six-bed community integrated homes serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. We specialize in caring for residents with behavioral problems. As a member of our staff, you will be part of one of these living centers and provide vital around-the-clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.Purpose: This position directly supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with everyday tasks such as ADLs, daily grooming, meal service, risk mitigation, and following applicable behavioral management plans as defined by individual resident needs. Actively engage with individuals at all times and provide necessary supports to meet their needs, including all direct care and service requirements. Follow Active Treatment/Programming schedule, identify hazards or dangerous behaviors in the environment, and take immediate action to avoid, mitigate, or eliminate hazards. Ensure the safety of self, residents, co-workers, families, guardians, and visitors at all times. Implement electronic and paper documentation of training needs including programming, incident reporting, data collection, and behavior observations. Follow good vehicle loading and unloading procedures and ensure compliance with vehicle safety practices.Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
