Direct Support Professional Training Instructor - BRYANT & STRATTON COLLEGE : Job Details

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking an Instructor to deliver a 5-week, on-campus (9 AM - 3 PM, Monday - Thursday), Direct Support Professional training program, encompassing various aspects of person-centered care, disability support, and relevant policies and procedures. This program will prepare individuals for employment as Direct Support Professionals upon completion. Tasks include: Deliver educational curriculum in alignment with the NYS and/or NADSP competencies for Direct Support Professionals. Instruct and adhere to the tenants of the Code of Ethics for Direct Support Professionals. Act as a point of contact with provider liaison(s) for the shadowing experiences of students.
