Discover a more connected Directional Drill Operator careerAt C-2 Utility Contractors , as a Directional Drill Operator , you'll safely and effectively run Directional Drills as well as a variety of other equipment used in the installation, repair and maintenance of underground construction and telecommunication utilities.Connecting you to great benefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays (floating holiday included)Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What you'll do as a Directional Drill OperatorSafely operate drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following: Direction Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tracctor Trailer (Moving Equipment/Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer, LocatorRestore and /or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsiteDevelop and maintain a bore scheduleSite set-up and clean-upLoad and unload tools, materials and equipment on truckJob Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting constructionSet up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers and at times flagging trafficWhat you'll needTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyMust possess a valid Class A CDL - Tanker endorsements strongly preferredMust be experienced with Directional Drill equipment and understand their capabilities and limitationsMust be safety consciousMust be able to effectively communicate with crew, customers and vendorsAbility to follow instructionsAbility to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructionsMust be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilitiesPhysical abilities & exposuresRoutinely: lift 50lbs and work in all weather conditions.Occasionally: lift 75lbs as needed with or without assistanceWhy work with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
