In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Develop, gain consensus, and execute Analytical Strategies for support of critical internal and client programs.
+ Continuously expand department capabilities through daily mentorship and management of the scientific staff.
+ Flexibly expand department capabilities through innovation and implementation to address the critical and emerging needs of the field
+ Serve as program leader and representative for the Analytical Development department in client and internal meetings.
+ Functions as primary data owner of the Analytical Development team, ensuring fit for purpose method design and development, execution, as well as ensuring accurate communication of teams work product.
+ Work with department leads to address gaps, manage staff through the matrix management approach, and ensure that the companys priorities are addressed.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Must be a leader in the Analytical Development field as demonstrated by a history of innovation through publication.
+ Must have experience in the support of IND or other regulatory filings.
+ Must be familiar with current guidance documents as well as proposed revisions.
+ Must possess PhD+15 years of industry related experience, including 10+ years of leadership experience.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel Up to 10% for conferences, client visits, and multi-location work
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Establishment of a functional Analytical Development Laboratory with related success in GMP support and IND filing.
+ Proven leadership of a cross-functional development team
+ Experience in FDA facing roles, including generation of responses
