Long Description

The Director, Analytics – North America Online will deliver key business insights and reports across the division, creating a community of practice among the analysts sitting in varied parts of the organization, and driving consistency in this function. Reporting directly to the President, the role will partner closely with the leadership team, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that drive the growth and performance of our operations. The Director of Analytics will be responsible for overseeing analytics strategies, driving business intelligence initiatives, and enabling data-centric decision-making to optimize the channel overall.

Responsibilities:
  • Performance Framework Design:
    • Identify and align key performance indicators to measure business performance across different online models, including brand and retailer.com as well as the different business levers (e.g., marketing, supply chain and merchandising).
    • Analyze and benchmark KPI performance across brand and retailers and overtime to identify business improvement opportunities (and make recommendations for how we mitigate these opportunities).
    • Analyze and create detail specifications for all e-commerce sites and manage communication with all participants in projects.
    • Build methodology to analyze Online market share across key customers.
  • Consumer Reporting & Opportunity Identification:
    • Measures the success of a retailer's online presence.
    • Analyze and report on changes in online sales to a team of e-commerce managers so they are well-informed when making business decisions.
    • Oversee and/or track a company's web analytics, search engine ranking, advertising campaign results and branding across a website.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Analyze, document and monitor various paid search and social opportunities; present these initiatives clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Data Visualization:
    • Design the visual dashboard used to report KPIs.
    • Systematically measure and report of identified KPIS (e.g., dashboards, process / approach, cadence).
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the go-to person for all the stakeholders for any query.
    • Ensure all the parties understand the solution and the business, operations and application development teams are on the same page.
    • Present to internal stakeholders.
  • Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics or data science, with at least 5 years in an e-commerce or digital-focused role. Business analysis or consulting in the context of ecommerce highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of A/B testing, predictive modeling, and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with marketing and digital advertising analytics (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email campaigns).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to balance technical analysis with strategic thinking.
