Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours/week
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Zoology or animal biology related field; Canadian Association of Laboratory Animal Science (CALAS) certification at a Master's level; Management training program or certification (Certified Manager in Animal Resources, other supervisory/management courses); Master's of Business Administration.
Career Level: 5 years' experience in laboratory animal science or management required; supervisory experience and knowledge of animal facilities budgets considered an asset.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years leadership experience, preferably in a Laboratory Animal Facility in a unionized environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree in Science, Zoology or animal biology related field, as well as Canadian Association of Laboratory Animal Science certification at the Master's level and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
