Location and Work Schedule: The agency's headquarters are in Manhattan, and they offer a hybrid schedule, with three in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Job Overview: In this pivotal role as the Director/AVP of Digital, you will play a key role in driving the agency's digital initiatives forward. The ideal candidate is someone with a flair for creativity and strong analytical skills, backed by a proven track record in executing successful social media, influencer, and paid campaigns. Moreover, you should have prior experience in team management, as you will be leading a group of talented professionals. Your passion for developing and implementing digital strategies will be crucial to the agency's continued success. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate and oversee the workflow across team members, clients, vendors, and freelancers, reporting directly to the VP/SVP.
  • Develop client strategies and execute brand campaigns, focusing on consumer-first approaches and results-driven tactics, while maintaining the highest level of client service and adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Ideate and execute a variety of digital campaigns, including both organic and paid social media campaigns, programmatic initiatives, and promotional efforts.
  • Analyze campaign metrics and use insights to optimize future efforts, ensuring alignment with overall strategies.
  • Assist in crafting new business proposals and budgets that reflect innovative and forward-thinking strategies to attract new clients.
Social Media, Digital, and Influencer Strategy:
  • Contribute to the development and execution of social media campaigns, including both organic content and promotional initiatives, across various social platforms.
  • Collaborate on planning and executing influencer campaigns, involving various types of influencers to maximize campaign impact.
Measurement and Analytics:
  • Educate internal teams and clients on performance metrics for social, display, and influencer initiatives.
  • Oversee social listening, monitoring, and reporting deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of digital trends and emerging opportunities in social media and influencer marketing.
Team Management & Development:
  • Effectively communicate with senior staff and take ownership of issues and successes.
  • Work with the SVP to enhance team capabilities and identify tools to improve execution and deliverables.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to support their professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7+ years of digital experience, with a strong emphasis on social media and digital strategy.
  • Prior agency experience is essential, including collaboration with PR counterparts at PR agencies or through agency partnerships.
  • At least 3 years of experience in management roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in beauty, healthcare, aesthetic, or consumer lifestyle industries is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills with keen attention to detail and grammar.
  • Advanced knowledge of various social media platforms and other digital channels.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and other relevant software.
  • Problem-solving skills to streamline team workflow and provide constructive feedback for growth.
  • A strong commitment to prioritizing excellent client service in a digital and PR environment.
  • The ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization to drive success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of display/programmatic, mobile, video, e-newsletters, blogs, and websites.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Salary and Benefits: Salary is based on experience. For a Director-level role, the targeted salary range is $115k-$140k. For an experienced AVP, the range is up to $175k.
