Description:
Direct instructional and operational activities on campus in accordance with District Strategic Plan and Core Values to optimize student recruitment, retention and placement; and maximize employee performance, facility utilization and community relations. Engage the community to support and promote Tulsa Tech programs.
Essential Functions:
* Customarily and regularly manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of TTC, including: directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion and termination actions, and hiring as appropriate.
* Interact and counsel with campus support and professional staff to foster a climate of continuous improvement, consistently modeling an attitude of personal and process improvement.
* Provide instructional leadership and support for programs assuring that highest quality classroom instruction is maintained, professional development opportunities are maximized and individual instructor performance is elevated.
* Oversee day-to-day campus operations to assure uninterrupted learning activity.
* Engage the community to support and promote Tulsa Tech programs.
* Attend various staff and committee meetings as well as district, state and industry meetings to assure alignment of campus programs and activities with District objectives and CareerTech initiatives and keep staff informed regarding pertinent District changes, information and direction.
* Collaborate with business partners and program Advisory Committees to assure currency and accuracy of existing programs, effect early identification of new programs in support of local business requirements and maintain relationships which promote placement of students.
* Utilize superior interviewing processes and skills to identify and hire professional and support personnel who possess the requisite experience, competencies and cultural match to maintain the highest levels of customer service and instructional excellence and ability to achieve the strategic and tactical objectives of the campus and the District.
* Prepare and oversee annual campus budget and monitor variances so as to assure appropriate expenditures and maintain the campus facilities, program equipment and operations in support of the current and long-range organizational outcomes of the District in accordance with applicable laws and District regulations.
* Continuously monitor student achievement indicators and program performance measures and implement appropriate intervention measures to effect maximum student retention and program completion.
* Represent the school and the campus programs through attendance and speaking engagements at school and community activities and events, communicating a message that reinforces the District Core Values and provides positive public relations for the campus, the District administration and the CareerTech system.
* Provide the highest level of customer service to numerous internal and external customers by responding to requests for information, research, reports and communication regarding various campus programs and matters.
* Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervisor and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.
Position Requirements:
* This position requires at least seven years of experience in teaching and educational leadership, with a minimum of three years specifically in school administration or leadership roles.
* Valid State Issued Driver's License
* Bilingual is a plus
Education and Specialized Training:
* Masters Degree in educational field
* Teaching and Secondary Administrator's Certification
* Must have or be able to obtain ODCTE Administrator certificate

Hiring Range:
$91,111 - $114,120 annually dependent on experience, plus an additional $9,000 annual compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.
