By enabling remote work and in-person sessions, we have built a culture that provides a unique dynamic of flexibility and belonging.What you'll doAs Director Commercial Operations, you will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. You will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of commercial operations activities across the eyeo group to drive revenue and user growth, operational efficiency and effectiveness, and overall business performance, covering both our user- (B2C & B2B) and media-focused businesses.You will work closely with the Managing Directors of the User and Media Business Units as a member of their (virtual) management team. Your job is to make them and their teams successful.
- Strategic planning: Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to maximize revenue generation across all eyeo products and services with a focus on both long- and short-term impact
- Operational efficiency: Streamline and optimize commercial processes, workflows and systems to enhance productivity, reduce costs and ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives
- Sales enablement: Collaborate closely with sales, account management and go-to-market teams to provide them with the necessary tools, resources and training to achieve their targets. Plan and implement data-driven sales strategies and tactics to boost performance
- Insights generation/analytics: Leverage data and analytics to gain insights into sales performance and market development. Use these insights to make informed business decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Team leadership: Build, manage and mentor a high-performing commercial operations team of 4-5 people. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within your team
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with other departments, particularly the two Business Units (but also product, go-to-market, marketing, strategy and finance), to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company objectives
- Performance tracking & pipeline mgmt: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards goals, and forecast sales & revenues. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Deal management and compliance: Ensure profitability and commercial integrity of deals with our partners from the media and tech ecosystems. Manage the deal review process and the deal review boardWhat you bring to the table
- 7+ years of experience in commercial/sales operations, a related role, or an equivalent experience in a management consulting company with a functional focus on sales, including a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence senior business leaders
- Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams that don't report to you
- Strong analytical and collaborative approaches to problem solving
- Solid knowledge of the online advertising/user experience ecosystem
