Director, Data & AI Channel Partnerships
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Channel Partnerships to help evolve the fast growing Shutterstock Data & AI business. The team's scope of responsibilities includes creating and pitching customer strategies, executing new Data & AI partnerships and identifying and incubating new revenue opportunities.
As the Director of Data & AI Channel Partnerships you will play a pivotal role in expanding our channel partner ecosystem to support Data & AI new business growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive channel partnership strategy that aims to identify and generate new Data & AI partnership opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of the AI training data market and channel partnership dynamics to drive revenue growth and create mutual value.
The Day to Day
Create and implement a robust channel partnership strategy across Data Marketplaces, VC firms, Business Incubators, Consulting Companies and others that aligns with Data & AI team business growth objectives.Identify, negotiate and execute new channel partnerships and design plans to effectively engage and onboard partners.Manage existing channel partners to ensure continued partnership growth by fostering strong relationships, collaboration and executing against joint business and GTM plans.Cultivate and maintain strategic/ senior to executive level relationships with channel partners, focusing on enhancing overall business opportunities.Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations and other teams to ensure that partner offerings are effectively integrated, supported and promoted.Develop GTM strategies and partner with internal stakeholders to develop enablement playbooks, provide training and support to internal teams on channel partner solutions and co-sell value propositions to ensure partner success and growth.Contribute to the development of white papers, case studies, and other thought leadership materials.Identify and implement innovative ideas and best practices to continually optimize each Channel's performance.Establish metrics and KPIs to continuously evaluate each channel partnership and its success and impact on Data & AI revenue growth.Represent Shutterstock at channel partner events, conferences, and forums to promote our data and AI capabilities and deepen our partnerships.Requirements
8-10 years of experience in partnership development, business development and/or channel partnerships within Media, Data, AI and/or Technology sectors.Good understanding of the Startup, VC and Incubator market dynamics, with the ability to develop and execute strategies that align with these market needs and opportunities.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess market, partner and team approaches to recommend impactful improvements to drive results.A self starter with a ‘can do' mindset and willingness to work across multiple projects and support team efforts where needed.A strong commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, with a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and advancements in data and AI.Proven results in consistently exceeding performance targets, building and managing successful partnerships and driving significant impact on business growth.Why Shutterstock:
