Director Data Analytics - Forsyth Barnes : Job Details

Title: Director Data AnalyticsSalary: $180,000-210,000Location: NYC - Hybrid in officeEligibility: This is an FTE position that is not eligible for sponsorship, candidates need to be on Green Card or US Citizen

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mid-sized retailer within their growing Data Analytics function, where you would be an integral part of leveraging more advanced analytics, data science, and AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate is someone who comes from a Retail or CPG background, has managed smaller teams while remaining hands-on, and has been at the heart of developing analytic solutions for use cases across Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and more.

Key Requirements:

10+ years of professional experience in Analytics, BI, or Data Science roles

4+ years in a leadership position with direct reports

Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or relevant field highly preferred

Hands-on experience across Python, SQL, and Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Experience with ERP Financial Systems such as Tableau

Experience working in a corporate retail or CPG business within the past 5 years of career

Key Responsibilities:

Foster a high-performing culture within the growing Data Analytics & Data Science department

Establish key business relationships across departments to act as a shared resource to the larger organization

Lead Data Quality and Governance to ensure accurate and consumable data across platforms

Develop data products, predictive analytic capabilities, and modeling to measure ROI on various initiatives
