This position reports to the Provost's Office and manages Dual Credit (DC), Dual Enrollment (DE), and Early College Credit programs offered through Southeast Missouri State University. Primary Responsibilities:
- Recruitment of school districts to participate in DC and DE programs
- Recruitment of high school teachers to teach DC
- Organization of DC/DE course offerings, staffing, and technical support
- Oversight of DC/DE course data entry
- Training of DC/DE teachers
- Working with academic departments at Southeast to schedule DC/DE courses, identify faculty to teach DC and DE courses, and ensure oversight of DC courses
- Working with high school administrators to schedule DC courses
- Ensuring adherence to DC/DE state regulations
- Collecting and reporting data to maintain accreditation of programs
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Three years of experience in high school or higher education teaching or administration
- Experience working with higher education administrators and faculty and/or secondary school administrators and faculty
- Demonstrated understanding of secondary school and higher education procedures and operations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
- Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with University constituents
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and interpretation for generating reports
- Excellent organizational skills that demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
