Job Description
Johnson & Johnson Global Total Rewards is recruiting for a Director - Fair Pay, located in New Brunswick, NJ. The Total Rewards team is seeking to hire an experienced professional to lead our Fair Pay strategy with the goal of ensuring our Total Rewards programs are driving fair outcomes. The Director Fair Pay will use statistical analysis to shape and influence our approach to fair pay compliance globally and will deliver strategic decision support through data, analytics, and insights. This role provides a unique opportunity to advance our Fair Pay strategy and programs while having an enterprise impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of the company's long-term Fair Pay strategy.Own the short to mid-term (1-3 years) Fair Pay strategy execution and operational direction.- Provide advice, analysis and guidance to senior leadership on critical projects.
- Establish operational objectives, policies, procedures and work plans.
- Integrate Fair Pay insights into Total Rewards programs.
Lead major projects including:- Analyzing pay for functions and countries and taking appropriate action.
- Identifying and implementing the requirements of Fair Pay legislation globally including the European Union Pay Transparency Directive.
- Advancing pay transparency initiatives and provide strategic support.
Partner with Legal, Employee and Labor Relations, and external law firms to investigate, analyze, and address individual pay issues.Develop communications to senior leaders and employees.Manage a Senior Manager, Fair Pay directly and work closely with colleagues in the regions to lead the company's Fair Pay projects.QualificationsEducation:
- A bachelor's degree.
- An advanced degree in Statistics or a related field is highly preferred (Master's/Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Design, Math, Finance or other related concentration).
Experience And SkillsRequired:
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience is required with a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Total Rewards or related field.
- Analytical skills and conceptual thinking with proven ability to analyze complex situations and data and develop solutions.
- Strong independent judgment to make decisions which directly impacts the execution and operational direction of the Fair Pay strategy.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to partner with multi-functional teams across geographic boundaries.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience interacting with senior executives.
- Ability to persuade others in sensitive complex situations while preserving relationships.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of global pay transparency legislation.
- Experience conducting global compensation analyses is preferred.

- This position is in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
