Position Summary
The Director of Policy Research and Analytics is responsible for leading the development and execution of research initiatives that inform and shape the company's global policy strategy. This role involves analyzing complex policy environments, forecasting trends, evaluating business impact, and providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.
A key aspect of this role involves drafting well-founded policy positions and developing innovative, differentiating policy proposals that strengthen the BMS thought leadership in the global pharmaceutical landscape.
The Director will utilize robust research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to craft policy recommendations that support the company's mission, align with the business objectives, and influence the global policy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Advanced degree in public policy, economics, political science, public health, or a related field. A Ph.D. or equivalent research-focused degree is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in policy research, analytics, or a related field, with a focus on global health or the pharmaceutical industry or highly regulated business sectors. Proven track record of delivering high-impact policy analysis that informs strategic decision-making. Extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods, including economic modeling, data analysis, and policy evaluation.
