Job Description

NRM Program Management is seeking to fill the position of Subdivision Project Manager Director Management Office (DMO). The NRF DMO Manager has overall responsibility to develop and manage the NRF Directorate Portfolio of work through effective balancing of scope and available resources while maintaining alignment with NRF mission objectives. The DMO also ensures alignment between work efforts encompassed by the NRF Planning Estimate in support of achieving NRF mission objectives and ensuring adequate interfaces exist between the NRF Portfolio and other NNL directorate portfolios. The DMO is responsible to manage prioritization decisions within the NRF Portfolio when constraints and competing objectives impose limits on the work to be performed. The DMO has management responsibility for program management functions associated with the NRF product lines, facilities, infrastructure, investment and operating funded projects including development and maintenance of the NRF Ten Year Plan, NRF Long Range Plan, (including associated processes and tools), and project management support of ongoing project and production work. This includes identification and management of NRF Portfolio objectives, constraints, assumptions, risks, and formal Portfolio change control processes. The DMO is responsible for effective project management communication strategies and assessment/reporting of progress toward achieving Portfolio objectives. The DMO is responsible to maintain NRF Portfolio processes and management strategies in alignment with principles identified in CP-112 and CI-112. The DMO has budgetary responsibility associated with NRF Directorate work efforts including issuance of the NRF Planning Estimate, the 08ECF Technical Work Plan, and ensuring adequate resources are available to support the mission. The NRF DMO works with counterparts across the NNL to develop and issue the Naval Reactors Technical/Budget Plan. The NRF DMO is the Nuclear Fuel Management (NFM) Source of Funds Manager.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and previous management experience; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and previous management experience. Preferred Skills

Pay Range $139,300.00 - $222,000.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
