Position Summary:The Director of Accounting and Finance is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization's financial and business administrative functions. This role ensures sound financial management, stewardship of external funds, compliance, and administrative efficiency, all in support of The Night Ministry's mission and strategic goals. As a strategic thought partner and active contributor to the Strategic Leadership Team, the Director is accountable for all operational aspects of the organization's accounting and finance systems. They ensure the general ledger accurately reflects the organization's finances and provide guidance to team members to uphold sound financial practices across the organization. Additionally, this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with board committees, managers, funders, vendors, co-workers, and supervise staff.
