We are seeking a Director of Analytics to lead our data analytics team and elevate our research capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects, including high-stakes initiatives like presidential campaigns, paired with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable for key clients. This role involves overseeing data collection, analysis, and visualization efforts, while also contributing to strategic decision-making and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analytics efforts for large-scale projects, including national-level and presidential campaigns, ensuring accurate and actionable insights.
- Oversee the end-to-end analytics process, from data collection and cleaning to advanced statistical modeling and reporting.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance the accuracy and impact of research findings.
- Collaborate with leadership and research teams to align analytics with client goals and organizational priorities, including willingness to relocate temporarily for key client needs.
- Design and apply predictive models, segmentation analyses, and experimental designs to uncover key insights.
- Create visually compelling dashboards, charts, and presentations to communicate insights effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage data systems and tools, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and efficiency in analytics workflows.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to analytics staff, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the firm's analytics capabilities remain cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing analytics for large-scale projects, including high-profile political campaigns or national initiatives.
- Strong expertise in data analytics, statistical modeling, and survey analytics.
- Advanced proficiency with tools like R, Python, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms for data visualization and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and apply advanced analytical techniques to uncover actionable insights.
- Willingness to relocate temporarily for significant client engagements or critical projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring or managing a team.
- Preferred advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
