Job Description :

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the comprehensive strategy for Benefits using compelling and competitive benefits programs aimed at attracting and retaining world class talent.
  • Design, develop and manage the overall benefits function considering company's extraordinary rate of growth as well as the evolving complexities of the business and external market.
  • Oversee the delivery of programs across multiple states ensuring all benefits comply with local and Federal requirements.
  • Serve as the primary resource for employees and managers regarding the company's Leave of Absence process.
  • Maintain an understanding of FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD benefit programs, and associated provisions.
  • Assist employees with the LOA process and understand the basic requirements of FMLA and ADA.
  • Respond to benefit inquiries about FMLA eligibility and ADA accommodations.
  • Collaborate with HR Locals and HRBPs to ensure employee FMLA eligibility and ADA Interactive Processes are followed.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Operations, Field Leadership and other members of the People Team to ensure all deliverables are in line with business objectives and company culture.
  • Work with Benefits Broker to analyze, negotiate and deliver comprehensive benefits plans that meet our employee's needs and are cost effective.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and relationships with outside vendors ensuring the company gets the best from our providers.
  • Responsible for building and delivering communication and training protocols as needed to support initiatives and ensure all programs are understood.
  • Monitor and report on changing regulations and ensure company is in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure all programs and activities are fair and equitable and promote a culture of inclusivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in a related discipline and a proven track record of at least 7-10 years building and leading benefits functions.
  • Full understanding of LOA plan designs and related HRIS maintenance. Extensive knowledge of benefits principles and demonstrated ability to think strategically and design plans in an unstructured environment.
  • Current experience in delivering Benefits programs in a multi-state, multi-unit environment for hourly and corporate employees.
  • Experience using Workday required

This role will sit hybrid, 4 days in the office 1 day wfh and has a budget of ~$160,000-180,000 base plus annual bonus and a strong benefits package.
