Director of Business DevelopmentPOSITION SUMMARYThe Director of Business Development is responsible for leading, planning, and executing business development initiatives and activities for Peckham's Contact Center Solutions division. This position's key focus will be on all aspects of business development. This includes driving the division's growth by developing and nurturing new and existing customer relationships, resulting in new Contact Center Solutions opportunities and wins. This position will serve as the voiceof the customer for internal teams and the face of Peckham and its mission to external audiences.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Contact Center Solutions strategy and support ongoing contract activities as required.
- Build business relationships vital to the success of the mission and company.
- Create and assess potential business opportunities and ensure they align with Peckham's Contact Service Solutions mission and business requirements.
- Coordinate customer and contract requirements for new business opportunities with business operations teams.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to ensure business and technical strategies are in line with industry direction.
- Direct and actively engage with strategic pricing teams to develop and implement winning bid strategies.
- Manage and personally contribute to the execution of pursuit strategies, ensuring active involvement in addressing design, sampling, and sustainment production dynamics.
- Provide the lead interface with the customer through the pursuit and implementation phases.
- Direct and actively participate in the development of and responses to RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs, ensuring a hands-on approach to crafting comprehensive proposals.
- Develop industry research for benchmarking and identification of trends and competitive dynamics.
- Partner with division leadership and marketing team to develop and manage annual budgets.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.

- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or similar field.
- 5+ years in business development or sales.
- 5+ years of experience working within the contact center industry.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of winning pursuit strategies.
- Have a consultative approach with a strategic vision for winning new business opportunities.
- Able to execute quality output under tight deadlines.
- Able to interact, influence, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once.
- Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
