Steri-Tek has emerged as a well-recognized and trusted E-beam/X-ray partner for startups and global companies alike and was founded in 2016. We are growing to serve increasing demand with our new Dallas facility that opened in April 2023. Steri-Tek has developed a proprietary system for optimizing E-beam/X-Ray sterilization of drugs/biologics, allograft/xenograft tissue product, combination devices, other complex products and particularly with sensitive materials.

Due to growth and expansion we are adding a Director of Business Development to our team. Ideally, the person would be located in Freemont, CA but we are open to other locations.

Essential functions:
  • Establish new customer accounts and grow Company revenue.
  • Work directly with prospective customers by providing technical and other information to effectively communicate the advantages of Steri-Tek and e-beam irradiation services over alternative solutions.
  • Actively work with current customers to identify additional opportunities to provide our services.
  • Follow up on all assigned leads created in the company marketing effort. Ensure that all new leads are contacted within 48 hours of receiving the lead.
  • Ensure that all current customers are visited at least once per calendar quarter by the assigned sales person or yourself.
  • Utilize the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to record and monitor all leads, opportunities and marketing contacts.
  • Utilize the reporting function of the Company CRM system to assist in communicating the status of all sales activities and open opportunities to the CEO.
  • Schedule regular status report meetings with the CEO.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field and 8 years experience in full-cycle sales roles or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in medical device, pharma or sterilization services highly preferred.
  • Successful record of communicating with high-level clientele over the phone and in person in a professional demeanor with client-service orientation.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce preferred), LinkedIn functionality, and account research tools.
