About the Role:
As the Director of Business Development - Key Accounts, you will be the strategic liaison between PCS Wireless and a leading Korean electronics company, one of our most important global partners. This is a high-impact role requiring a deep understanding of Korean business culture, particularly within large organizations. You will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders at this partner, primarily at the working level within their HQ and global teams. Your ability to understand their unique communication styles and internal processes will be critical to your success.
You Will Have the Opportunity to:
Build and Manage Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key personnel at a major Korean electronics partner, acting as the primary point of contact between our organizations.Cultural Bridge: Serve as a cultural interpreter, facilitating seamless communication and understanding between PCS Wireless and our partner.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with this key partner and internal PCS teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with our mutual goals.Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify new business opportunities within this key account, leveraging your deep understanding of their needs and priorities.Drive Growth and Profitability: Lead the coordination of account strategy and messaging across all internal PCS teams to ensure alignment with our partner's objectives and drive the growth and profitability of the partnership.Deliver Results: Take ownership of key account activities, including preparing for and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to showcase PCS capabilities and ensure we are exceeding expectations.Market Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our partner ecosystem, including their key performance indicators (KPIs), organizational structure, and decision-making processes.Advocate for PCS: Position PCS as the partner of choice.What Makes You Great:
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) working directly with or for large Korean corporations.Cultural Fluency: Deep understanding of Korean business culture, etiquette, and communication styles.Relationship Builder: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships at all organizational levels.Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions that create value for both PCS and our partner.Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Results-Oriented: Proven track record of driving results and exceeding targets.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the mobile device industry, particularly the secondary market.Language Skills: Business proficiency in both English and Korean are required.Travel: This role will require some travel to global locations.We Are Seeking People Who:
