The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Director- Change Management.

The Change Director will lead the overall strategy, design, and implementation of organizational change management initiatives across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This role involves leading complex change efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies. The Change Director will support organizational transformation with resources, frameworks and methodologies to help optimize service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency by guiding leadership and cross-functional teams through significant change processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a Change Management Center of Excellence for Holman with defined roles, responsibilities, industry leading methodologies that support Holman's culture.
  • Create and manage change strategies to support business goals.
  • Partner with leadership to align resources and change frameworks in support of business priorities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess readiness and manage change risks.
  • Guide the development of communication, training, and engagement plans.
  • Develop and lead the change management team to deliver impactful results.
  • Stay current with research and trends to support the successful implementation of business priorities.
  • Create and manage your departmental budget, resourcing and forecasting.
  • Mentor and develop team members for future career growth.
  • Create a team environment that promotes learning, development and camaraderie.

Essential Functions:

  • Create Change Management Center of Excellence: Establish methodologies and team members who excel at leading change initiatives and can share their expertise with others.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies that allow for the successful adoption of new initiatives, ensuring integration into organizational culture and operations.
  • Design, develop, and oversee communication strategies that ensure clear, consistent messaging, fostering engagement and understanding across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead and manage organizational impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and change adoption strategies, ensuring that the business is prepared for transformational shifts.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate change risk, implementing customized interventions to address challenges and build support for change initiatives.
  • Integrate change management practices into the overall project management lifecycle, ensuring that change initiatives are aligned with project goals and milestones.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and effectiveness of change management strategies, adjusting approaches as necessary to ensure ongoing progress.
  • Lead and manage the change management team and portfolio, providing oversight on multiple, simultaneous projects, and ensuring consistent execution of change strategies across the organization.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) and/or Project Management (e.g., PMP) strongly preferred.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 10+ years in change management or related areas, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex projects and deliver results.
