The Director of Clean Energy will spearhead the development and growth of Magnolia Federal Credit Union's green and clean energy loan programs. This role is dedicated to expanding our clean energy loan portfolio and enhancing its value proposition, with a strong focus on serving low- and moderate-income communities. The Director will drive outreach efforts to engage members and partners, advancing our ambitious climate goals. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, fostering strategic partnerships, and implementing operational improvements to deliver outstanding member experiences in the green lending sector.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
· Establish and maintain external relationships with key partners in the clean energy sector, including contractors, local governments, nonprofits, and other stakeholders focused on green products and low- and moderate-income communities. Identify and leverage targeted energy efficiency assistance programs and funding partnerships within the credit union's service area.
· Create and implement marketing strategies specific to green lending in collaboration with internal staff to achieve program goals. Provide technical assistance and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on green lending. Establish guidelines for green lending programs and relationships.
· Ensure clean energy lending products comply with green reporting requirements and support internal teams in meeting these standards.
