About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Client Services and Partnerships to oversee and optimize the full lifecycle of our advertising partnerships. This role will be responsible for both pre-sale and post-sale functions, ensuring the seamless execution of campaigns while driving long-term client success. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this individual will lead a team, manage key relationships, and contribute to revenue growth through performance-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow existing accounts and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Oversee all client communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional interactions.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and creative teams to craft compelling pre-sale proposals and campaign strategies.
- Ensure that all sales materials, copy, and brand messaging align with company standards and client expectations.
Campaign Execution & Performance Management
- Lead the post-sale process, overseeing execution, project management, and performance optimization.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Branded Content, Social, Editorial, and Art, to bring client campaigns to life.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyzing key metrics to ensure deliverables meet client objectives.
- Identify areas for optimization and proactively implement solutions to improve campaign success.
- Deliver comprehensive end-of-campaign recaps, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Manage and mentor a team, including overseeing the role of the Senior Campaign Manager.
- Establish and refine workflows to improve efficiency in campaign execution and client service.
- Ensure best-in-class customer experience by streamlining processes and aligning internal teams.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, sharing insights and recommendations with the team and clients.
Who You Are
- A strategic thinker with a strong background in digital media, advertising, or brand partnerships.
- A results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of campaign performance metrics.
- An expert in both pre-sale strategy (proposal development, copy oversight, sales material creation) and post-sale execution (production, project management, customer success).
- A strong leader who can mentor a team and drive operational efficiencies.
- A problem-solver with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to achieve goals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in client services, brand partnerships, or digital advertising, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing high-value client relationships and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong expertise in performance metrics, campaign execution, and optimization strategies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience in overseeing sales materials and messaging.
- Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media advertising, and content-driven campaigns.
