Manages all material, financial, and human resources within assigned areas(s). Ensures competent staff performance and promotes staff development. Acts as the primary retention and recruitment officer for the unit. Complies with and supports hospital and clinical services philosophies, policies, procedures, and protocols. Job Duties Ensures the delivery of quality patient care in assigned area(s). Demonstrates full responsibility and accountability for all unit activities. Fosters accountability of staff for adherence to policy/procedures/professional practice. Manages staff in designated area(s). Assumes the role of primary retention and recruitment officer for the unit. Coaches and mentors staff in the attainment of goals and identified needs.
