Please review the job details below and then click “apply.” We're looking for someone to join our team as a Director of Clinical Services who: The DCS is responsible for companywide immunizations, regulatory compliance, health plan audits, infection control, laboratory compliance, and competencies/training for MAs, LVNs, and RNs. Additionally, the DCS leads workflow optimization, case management, and grant management for special populations, which include Ryan White, Agricultural Health, Health Care for the Homeless, Most Vulnerable Infant Program, and CPSP. This role ensures compliance with audits from regulatory bodies such as the Joint Commission, NCQA, HRSA, State DHCS, CMS, CLIA, and internal audits. The DCS collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals and deliver quality care to diverse patient populations. Essential Functions: Coordinates and formulates policies, goals, and programs for clinical services consistent with the Clinica Sierra Vista Production System (CSVPS). Collaborates with the Operations Director and Practice Manager to manage and supervise clinical supervisors. Develops, implements, and oversees clinical programs aligned with CSVPS. Updates and maintains clinical policies and procedures annually or more frequently as needed. Supervises clinical procedures and ensures the provision of high-quality care. Oversees training programs, in-service development, and quality assessments for MAs, LVNs, and RNs. Manages immunization tracking and reporting to County Health Departments and State authorities. Ensures compliance with infection control standards and oversees related programs. Oversees lab compliance and ensures alignment with CLIA and other regulatory requirements. Coordinates case management and ensures program alignment with organizational goals. Manages grant-related activities, including reporting and compliance, for special populations such as Ryan White, Agricultural Health, and Health Care for the Homeless. Leads regulatory compliance efforts, including preparation for audits by HRSA, the Joint Commission, NCQA, State DHCS, CMS, and other bodies. Develops and monitors workflows, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies. Ensures emergency procedures and equipment readiness across all sites. Oversees ordering of medical equipment, medications, and medical supplies at all sites. Responsible for follow-up on some clinic patients. Provision of direct patient care. Special procedures (I.V., newborn evaluation, and communicable disease differentiation). Coordinate case management review meetings and assure that the medical team is functioning in accordance with policies, procedures, and program requirements. Assist in selection and hiring recommendation, evaluation, and training of clinical staff in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols established by CSV. Participates actively in Quality Improvement and other key organizational committees. Acts as a liaison with governmental programs and ensures compliance with grant guidelines and initiatives. Ensure compliance with Title 22, OSHA, HIPAA, and Medi-Cal regulations across all clinical operations. Oversee preparation for and responses to audits, including UDS reporting and HRSA site visits. Manage partnerships with public health entities to address social determinants of health. Maintain readiness for emergency situations, including infectious disease outbreaks, per California and CDC standards. You'll be successful with the following qualifications: (Educational requirements, ie) Master's level training in Business Administration, Public Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with an ADN, BSN, or MSN (preferred). Active California RN license. Valid CA Driver License. Minimum of three years of nursing experience (ambulatory nursing preferred). At least one year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting. Knowledge of patient care practices, infection control, immunizations, and regulatory compliance. Strong ability to interface with patients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams. Bilingual Spanish skills (preferred).
